I almost PRODded this, but there was one passing reference to this as a town (in yet another book on placename origins), and I didn't want to go through the process twice. Anyway, I don't think that's good enough as testimony, as it's likely the author simply assumed that a name on a map was for a town. What it actually was is pretty clear: as "formerly, El Roble Siding" suggests, it was a very minor Northwestern Pacific station stop. Other than that, the placenames reference, and a lot of name drops in locating other things, I found nothing, and the maps and aerials show that it just sits in the middle of a bunch of agriculture.
