Keep— It looked like she played a part, albeit small, in Dylan's life, and that seems notable. Also, the references are legitimate and secondary. Leonard^Bloom (talk) 17:13, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Delete a girlfriend of Bob Dylan in high school. The only claims of notability are suggested conclusions by the editor and not documented. Although I found this source it seems she is still not notable. GtstrickyTalk or C18:56, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
After some consideration:Delete. I'm familiar with her, because I've read several Dylan biographies. However, her documentation in such books is a sign of biographers being thorough, not of her inherent notability. It is possible that some notability could attach to an artist's love interest, but in the case of that person being a direct inspiration for a significant work, and/or as a component of the celebrity's public presence. For example, Dylan's later girlfriend Suze Rotolo certainly makes the cut, since her appearance on the cover of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan made her a figure of national speculation. And Dylan's first wife Sara Dylan claim to fame is not her marriage, but the fact that Dylan publicly credits her as the inspiration for "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands". Echo Star Helstrom belongs to the pre-fame portion of Dylan's life, and aside from giving the occasional interview she has clearly pursed a private, low-key (i.e. non-notable) life.-- P L E A T H E R talk15:13, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
