The "Dovre region" is not a governmental body or recognised governmental region, but more a general term for the area around the mountain and the municipalities that sit near it. As such, it is recommended that this page be deleted.

- Redirect to Dovrefjell. In Norwegian, Dovrefjellområdet and Dovrefjellregionen are concepts within political administration, mostly biological, according to Google.
