Seems to fail WP:GNG. I can find nothing at JSTOR, GScholar, GBooks etc I've also tried offline works by authors such as Khushwant Singh without success. Perhaps he is revered in the locality but the one source given is as likely to be an amateur commemorative publication as anything else. I've not been able to check for Punjabi sources.
