This competition seems to be ongoing so I think WP:CRYSTALBALL applies. The subject itself also fails GNG. Efforts to redirect this back to this year's cup have failed because we allow fans to edit, much to my chagrin. Chris Troutman (talk) 00:59, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - Unlike European/UEFA competitions or competitions from other confederations which have articles created a fortnight before official start, the CAF competitions are more of battle of creations among African Wikipedians as I've seen since my account creation. Also the nominator posted a notice of reversion on my talk page on the count of notability, which I consider an anomaly, and stated it is ongoing.
