Verkhnelandekhovsky District (Russian: Verkhnelandekhovsky District) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-one in Ivanovo Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 610 square kilometers (240 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a settlement) of Verkhny Landekh.[1] Population: 4,149 (2021 Census);[7] 5,348 (2010 Census);[2] 5,631 (2002 Census);[8] 6,838 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Verkhny Landekh accounts for 39.4% of the district's total population.[7]
