@TomCat4680: Dear Sir, I have also added some references in English and have to add in Hindi because there are mostly hindi language sites in India. Because most of the articles are printed here in Hindi. But Overall I have searched about this actor He is noted actor in india. Thnks Sir Virenderthind2019 (talk) 11:35, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
The article The Game of Votes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails to meet WP:NBOOK. There is just one good source among the 11 in the article...
- the book's publisher - not independent
- Amazon.com - it's a retail opportunity, not independent
- Google Books - firstly it does nothing to show notability, they list everything, and secondly it's already accessible through the ISBN links in the infobox
- Curious Reader - WP:UGC with a retail link
- Indiatimes.com - once I'd archived it (they don't like Europeans reading their stuff it seems - GDPR) it was just a rehash of the dust jacket blurb - it's pretty damning if the reviewer hasn't got past the dust jacket and the foreword.
- ptinews.com is a good source, so good that outlookindia.com, and deccanherald.com copied it word-for-word. That's one source, not three.
- sentinelassam.com quotes the author and provides less than 50 words of their own. That's not an in depth review, or anything approaching it.
- A twitter post by the author's friend - WP:UGC.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated))
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing ((proposed deletion/dated))
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cabayi (talk) 14:41, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Hello Virenderthind2019. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Virenderthind2019. The template ((Paid)) can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: ((paid|user=Virenderthind2019|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName))
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Template:Z159Jklamo (talk) 16:35, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:The Game of Votes.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like ((PD-self))
(to release all rights), ((self|cc-by-sa-4.0))
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 08:45, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
Your addition to Farhat Basir Khan has been removed, as it added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images. You must write your content in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing.
The only exceptions to a free license being required are listed at WP:NFC, but in this case, because this is a living person, those criteria would not apply. For living people only free images may be used - if no free image is available then no image can be used. I honestly suggest you don't even think about uploading images until you have very carefully read and thoroughly understood the pages I linked for you. There is no WP:DEADLINE, so take the time to learn and understand - wikipedia will not go away while you are doing that - there is no rush. -- Begoon 04:51, 17 October 2019 (UTC)

I need your help again. Actually i have created a new article on an indian actor. ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishtiyak_Khan ) An editer added some tags on page. I did not understand why. Please check and make me understand that how can i improve this page.

Incidentally, I know that you said above that you are not expecting to be paid for your contributions to wikipedia, but I can understand why the question was asked - your pattern of editing does seem to give that impression in several ways. If you are then you should be honest about it. -- Begoon 02:59, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
@Begoon: About paid contribution to wikipedia, Actually it was written to me by mistake, I wanted to say something else. I am trying to contribute Wikipedia with my heart and Yes i am honest about it. But yes you are right i have grammer problem.but i am improving day by day. And about my recent article- As i checked sir, if he acted in a film as auto rikshawala then he has also acted in other films as supporting role. It seems to me, If at any time an editor is new and he is working hard and contributing, then it becomes the duty of the other editor to help him. Did you read WP:GNG and WP:NACTOR as I suggested? If so, can you briefly sum up how you think this actor meets them? Doing that is an exercise that should help you to improve the article. -- Begoon 04:29, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ashok Masti requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Dear Sir, Actually, I am a newbie Wikipedian. To be honest, I dont know all policies and guidelines. I don't have enough knowledge that what is wrong or right. I thought that through the email I should ask for pics from them and attach it to the article so that the article looks good. I took their email address from their social accounts and at that email address I asked for their photos. they send me and I uploaded. I didn't know that leads me into the problems. I am honestly saying i've no connection with those people. I've created those article in my own. I don't get any personal benefit from these pics. I can delete them all. I am so sorry for my silly activities. I do apologize. Please forgive me this time. I will not repeat it again. I am here to contribute constructively. No Sir... I don't know these.. Arshpreetsinghjosan Honeyjeetsingh Rising Artists
If I used the uploaded photos of these users in the articles, does it mean that these articles belong to me?
About "Rising Artists", I want say that I was not well aware of the OTRS's guidelines when I used his uploaded photo. I felt that it was necessary to take OTRS permission before attaching the photo. You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
