You have deleted this category and I guess it must be kept, but I have less than an hour since it was deleted. I think that in a categorization, it starts by the countries and then regions and provinces. León is a territorial entity, so I understand if there are categories for municipalities, and so others, It must have one for Airports. Thank you --Auslli (talk) 18:34, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi Skier Dude. Please could you confirm why the images I posted to the Polymer concrete page were deleted. I'm new to uploading images, so am not aware of all of the ins and outs. Thanks, and have a good holiday. Doctor Johnson (talk) 22:26, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Hello! You tagged two images under Edmond La Beaume Cherbonnier for CSD: Image:Cherbonnier.jpg and Image:Cherb_msmdJ-M.jpg. However, the owner of the copyright, the source web page (linked here), that is linked from both of the file pages, grants permission for use of the images: The copyright holder grants any entity the right to use the photographs on this page for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law.
What needs to be done to remove the CSD tag, or to clarify that permission has been granted? Thanks! Itstrh (talk) 18:19, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

thanks for your queries on the pictures uploaded by me. I would like to clarify about the circumstances in which I obtained them. The following pictures were obtained by me from my colleagues (who handed over to me, the copyrights) during the course of my service at the Naval bases in Vishakapatnam,India and Kochi ,India. ( I am certain that some of my colleagues still have copies of these pictures with them and may have uploaded them to different websites.) .I have a vague idea of the dates on which the photographs were taken ( between 1990 and 2000 ) 1)Marcos.jpg 2)Marcos2.jpg
The file Marco1.jpg was obtained during a training exercise.
The file (Kolkata-class DDG.jpg ) is a jpeg version of the work done by Indian Naval architects using CATIA V5 R14,which was in my possession for some time before it was officially released to the press, by the Indian Navy.
later on I was deputed to the Press Information Bureau ,New Delhi,India by the government of India ,where I obtained the following photographs :
1)Hitsquadspg.jpg ( Independence Day celebration at Red Fort,New Delhi, India)
2)Paracommandos.jpg ( during the Indian Army day celebrations in 2009 )
3)Indiancommandos.jpg ( during the Republic Day celebrations of India on 26th Jan,2009)
I hope this answers your queries. Regards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ultrastealth (talk • contribs) 09:00, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Could you follow up on this and explain why you put it up for deletion? Is there any particular reason to doubt the veracity of the ownership claim?> - Mgm|(talk) 12:19, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks once again for your response. You have raised certain genuine doubts on the discussion page regarding the authenticity of my claim on the files Marco1.jpg,Marcos2.jpg and Marcos.jpg . I accept my fault in not explaining the circumstances under which the images were obtained. The persons in the above picture belong to the Marine Commando Force or MARCOS (new name). The organization gives priority on maintaining secrecy of its activities. Thus it is very difficult to find images of them anywhere on the internet. These images were taken with an SLR camera (CHINON -reel film type) in the early 90's during the formative years, by my mates (since we were attached to the unit) with the intention of distribution among a few unit members. I purchased the reel from the photographers and subsequently developed the film and later on provided copies to a few unit members. I was hesitant to publish these images on a open forum like wikipedia for the fear of it affecting our career prospects. It was only after the terror attacks on Mumbai on 26th Nov,2008, that I felt the need to publish them. This is because almost all the print and electronic media were flooded with images of the unit members ,who took part in the anti-terror operation . Thus , after consulting with my former superiors I went ahead and uploaded them onto your pages (I took care in selecting only those pictures in which the faces of the members were partially masked , for the sake of privacy). I hope you have got an idea of the situation. If you have further question ,please forward them to me. thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ultrastealth (talk • contribs) 17:59, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Skier Dude, I just came to realize that you had deleted all my pictures on the Every Child Ministries page. I didn't participate in the discussion because I didn't even know it was on. This were pictures I had had taken myself in Ghana. Maybe I don't understand the "used by permission" phrase. I thought this meant I was giving permission to use my photos. What would I have to do to prove that I am the owner of these photos? They add a lot to the article, I think. Lorella Rouster Lorella@ecmafrica.org THANK YOU. While the spelling and tone of this article is bad, it does have context and a quick google search shows possible notability though I'm not sure it would survive an AFD discussion. I'm not trying to question your judgment but if there's the slightest chance a decent article may be written, we should hold off on the speedy. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 10:57, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
