Yasin Şöhret moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Yasin Şöhret. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because there is no demonstration of notability using the established guidelines of WP:NPROF, and it has format issues with inappropriate double use of references. Rather than deleting it, I will give you a chance to retry and make it notable. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 21:35, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Ldm1954:. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I just went through WP:NPROF and you are right. The main problem I realized I did in regards to the notability issue was I didn't include citations to publications rather only referenced the citations only. I can also remove the unnecessary citations and fix other issues that I may have overlooked. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I may let another editor correct or even do it myself.~~~~ Serrwinner (talk) 04:25, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Yasin Şöhret

Hello, Serrwinner,

Thank you for creating Yasin Şöhret.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Deleting comments and moving it yourself is highly inappropriate, you should have submitted it for independent review. You have also ignored almost everything I mentioned. If I see no indication of improvement in the next few days I will put this article up for deletion.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with ((Re|Ldm1954)). Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

@Ldm1954: My sincerest apologies for removing the tags, I did not do it out of bad light and for that I am totally at fault. I did try and do something you recommended to me which was to try and translate the references pointing to secondary sources to demonstrate notability. What I can do is to try improve the page by adding more secondary sources, even if it means me moving it in draftspace so that I can do it to meet the notability requirements. Thank you for your input and patience with me. Serrwinner (talk) 20:21, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. In a bit I will move it back to draft space. Later please submit it using the AfC process (there will be a link on the page). That way a third person will look it over for notability. Ldm1954 (talk) 20:23, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yasin Şöhret moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Yasin Şöhret. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources and please use the article for creation process to get a third opinion on notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 10:36, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello once again. I just received a message stating it's not necessary to go through the AfC process and if I believe it is notable enough I can move it. After translating the Turkish articles I believe it qualifies under WP:BASIC. I think the initial mistake (and why you rightfully draftified in the first place) was that I assumed it qualifies under WP:NPROF and after you corrected me I realized it didn't and now think it qualifies due to multiple secondary coverage. I was to move it but I saw it would be best to consult with you first to avoid another draftification or deletion log. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for everything. Serrwinner (talk) 16:46, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Serrwinner, that message came from someone who did not read our discussion so I would not put much weight on it.
Whatever you choose I won't review it a 2nd time, as I said before it should be looked at by someone else. If you submit it via AfC then you will get a fair review and they should point out issues for you to change if they decline it. (I will monitor just in case.) So long as you make improvements it can be submitted many times.
If you move it yourself it will still be reviewed. However, rather than giving you suggestions to improve the reviewer (from a different group) may suggest it be deleted, so there is a bit more risk.
Your decision. I think you have done a good job with the improvements, but others may not agree -- many are harsher than I am! Ldm1954 (talk) 19:59, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
