Hi, I posted a question here about the image filter in case you missed it. In point 3: "allow logged-in users to change their preferences, so images can be off by default (i.e. shown only after clicking), and to hide the images on/off switch," what does "to hide the images on/off switch" mean? Many thanks, SlimVirgin (talk) 21:53, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Seems like we work on the same topic: Venezuela. Let me introduce myself: I am Hahc21 (this is my alt account, Razr Nation which I use for maintenance, NPP, AFD and AFI) and I have been getting interested by Venezuela-related topics (I am Venezuelan, after all) and I'd like to make a collaborative effort with you on maintaining and keeping the Wikiproject alive. I mostly work on lists and I am currently planning to bring all Venezuelan regional elections and municipal elections articles to FL status, and presidential elections to Good article status. I'd like to talk to you very often so we can be in contact about the project and other stuff. By the way, I've answered why the Venezuelan regional elections, 2008 articles uses a dagger instead of bolding: It was requested at FLC. Saluts. — ṞṈ™ 01:31, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

In relation to the substubs you are creating, e.g. Frank J. Burgoyne and Émile Sagot, you may want to consider if these people have anough notoriety per WP:notability guidelines and policies. Your claim that these pages are "created to support documentation of copyright info needed for their work on Commons" is not a sufficient reason to justify these pages' existence in and of itself. You need to verify existence of sufficient independent references to the subjects, among other things, to establish notability. cherkash (talk) 18:40, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi, you have contacted me on my talk page on the Farose Wikipedia. I am not sure what you need to know. Regarding the Faroese national anthem, the poet died on 9 October 1942, so it is more than 70 years ago, so even if we follow the American law the copyright would have expired. We use the Danish "Grundlov", but not all Danish laws apply to the Faroe Islands. The Faroese government can chose to make a law apply to the Faroe Islands or they can chose that a sertain Danish law will not apply to the Faroe Islands. I.e. the the shops in the Faroe Islands are not allowed to sell alcohol, only a the monopoly store can do that, while it is free in Denmark. Regarding copyright, I am not sure, but here is a Faroese law (written in Danish): [2] Kind regards EileenSanda (talk) 14:49, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that if you are inactive for a continuous three year period, you will be unable to request return of the administrative user right. This includes inactive time prior to your desysopping if you were desysopped for inactivity and inactive time prior to the change in policy. Inactivity is defined as the absence of edits or logged actions. Until such time as you have been inactive for three years, you may request return of the tools at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. After you have been inactive for three years, you may seek return of the tools only through WP:RFA. Thank you. MBisanz talk 00:20, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

They all have a place, but you have them in the right order. Of course it doesn't matter since no one will ever change. Anyhow, not worth crying about. There are hundreds of great books, reference works, articles, journals, newspapers and web pages being published every day. The sum of human knowledge is outside the fence. I think that every time I pick up a book like the CRC or Chemistry of the Elements or Earnst's 2008 compendium of the world's turtles. Or even just google the web itself. Or pick up the WSJ and marvel at all the content produced daily, laid out, transmitted and printed and circulated (even on 12SEP2001).TCO (talk) 20:24, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Omar Camero Zamora requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
