Hello. I recently left a warning on an users talk page for vandalism, and you blocked said user. Did you intend to leave the block notification as a reply? Seeing "You have been blocked temporarily from editing to prevent further vandalism." in my notifications was quite surprising. Saltq (talk) 18:13, 25 April 2023 (UTC)

You blocked 110.227.143.107 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) for block evasion yesterday, I think they are back on 106.212.75.253 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). Similar type of edits on Neha Dhupia. Ravensfire (talk) 20:24, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Hi Paul, I hope you are doing well! Do you see anything for Monte Michael Moore or Jim Pavelec? BOZ (talk) 18:48, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
Hello. I want you to reconsider your reversion of edits by me, Brettm, on the premise of a WP Synth violation. The violation guidelines state synthesis of a conclusion from primary sources - I made no such violation because I made no conclusion. I simply stated two facts with primary sources to back them up directly. Please reconsider your reversion otherwise I will escalate. Brettlm (talk) 20:56, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
Hello. I'm a bit confused by your block of Marny63 (talk · contribs). They were undoing vandalism by an IP, and you were reinstating it (e.g. here, where the IP removed the close by DanCherak, Marny63 reinstated it, and then you removed it again). Am I missing something? Cheers, Number 57 16:54, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

Hi Paul Erik. I thought I'd bring to your attention that a new IP user, 106.212.111.163 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), made an edit to Cynthia Erivo (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) that was similar to others by previous block-evading IP users. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 18:04, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
Hi, Paul Erik -- Thank you for nipping that IP user in the bud! Stay well. -- Bringingthewood (talk) 02:13, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
With the ongoing antics of serial evader KompressO, (their most recent activity just hours ago), would a range-block be of any use here? It's clear that the 97.112.x.x range is often used by them. Cheers - wolf 04:43, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
This is a sock of WP:LTA/AG1204. Please revoke TPA if possible (and revoke TPA for all future socks) because past socks have abused it to troll people. — Prodraxis {talk • contribs} (she/her) 22:50, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
I saw you left a message on 159.196.12.40 (talk) on 29 July saying that you blocked them, but as of 5 August they're still disruptively editing on Doki (TV series) here.[1] Thank you. FutureFlowsLoveYou (talk) 12:27, 5 August 2023 (UTC)

Hi Paul! Do you see anything for Michael Fishel? BOZ (talk) 05:41, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
...here. I didn't mean to rollback my own reversion; it is way too easy to accidentally rollback on mobile, and this has inspired me to create an associated mobile account without rollback rights so this doesn't happen again. Regards, Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 02:32, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
Why is it not appropriate to point out explicitly that Cleveland is 27 years older than his future wife? Why force the reader to discover Cleveland’s north year and calculate it him/ her self? Is the specific difference not important? Wis2fan (talk)< Wis2fan (talk) 21:13, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

[s]ysops can choose to use revdel if, in their view, it's the right tool for this situation, and they need not default to oversight. But oversight could well be right where there's a particularly high risk to the person. Use your judgment.

Thank you for following and blocking the IPs involved Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Country music category vandal from Tennessee. You beat me to AIV this morning! ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 14:45, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
Back in August you blocked 171.250.34.133 for 31hr for block evasion, after they had been spamming user talk pages to proxy edit Akane Yamaguchi. They are back as 116.100.212.103 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log). -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested ∆transmissions∆ °co-ords° 15:33, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
I edited her article with information about her son's current whereabouts. You reverted my edit, citing Wikipedia's official policy on Linkedin. However, that section on Linkedin, said that it is OK if it's authenticated. I think it's pretty common sense that Theodore Gillibrand himself has published his linkedin page even if you just take a cursory glance at it.

Hi Paul! I recently worked on Julie Ann Dawson, Steven Belledin, Scott Bennie, Matthew J. Finch, and Ethan Skemp, and was wondering if you saw anything more out there for any of them. I know I had previously asked about Dawson, Belledin, and Skemp, but sometimes new sources come up over time, and better to check than leave it undone. :) Anything you can find on any of these would help! BOZ (talk) 13:42, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
I think you can access The Wikipedia Library; is that right? Through there, you can access ProQuest, which is the database I have been searching when you stop by to ask me. I've been glad to help, of course. These topics, role-playing game writers, are not ones I am especially interested in, though. Given your strong commitment to the subject area, the encyclopedia might benefit more from your careful searches than mine. :) Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 00:11, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add ((NoACEMM))
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:23, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
Hi Paul Could you please leave the Sam Heughan 'talk' page alone. Your edit broke the context, and censored unresolved fan, and edit requests. A chatty tone perhaps, but in a question answer, resolved yes/no format 62.6.135.250 (talk) 19:48, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

BOZ (talk) is wishing you a Merry Christmas! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by wishing another user a Merry Christmas, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Don't eat yellow snow!
Spread the holiday cheer by adding ((subst:User:Flaming/MC2008)) to their talk page with a friendly message.
I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. Feel free to take a "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" if you prefer. :) BOZ (talk) 00:21, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 03:16, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
