Some people are expressing concerns (a concern I share) about the content of your user page, which seems to have several sections which run afoul of WP:POLEMIC and WP:BLP in particular. Perhaps you could review what you have there, and take down anything which could be viewed as unhelpful in the light of those policies. Thanks. --Jayron32 15:26, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Chushingura English movie poster 1962.jpg. The article Mount Saint Joseph Cemetery (Hayward, California) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unremarkable cemetery that fails WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated))
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing ((proposed deletion/dated))
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 20:19, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Simon Chimbetu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Founder. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello User:Mercurywoodrose:
I work at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, and was wondering if you might consider helping me with some updates to the page. I understand I am in a conflict of interest relationship with SVCF and respect the related Wikipedia rules to not edit the page directly. Given you are a member of the Wikipedia:WikiProject California/San Francisco Bay Area task force, I was wondering if you might find it a good use of your time to go over to the foundation’s talk page to review my proposed edits. I appreciate your time and any feedback you may have for me. Thank you and best David svcf (talk) 17:45, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

The file File:Elbert Benjamine AKA C. C. Zain.gif has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
WP:DECORATIVE non-free use in Church of Light#Brotherhood of Light which doesn't really meet WP:NFCC#8. This file was originally being used a stand-alone article about Benjamine/Zain in C.C. Zain, but that article was merged into the one about "Church of Light" per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/C. C. Zain. Most as part of the merge related cleanup, the image was also simply moved to "Church of Light" as well, but that completely changes the justification for the file's non-free use. Generally, a non-free image of a deceased person is often allowed when the image is used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox or at the top of a stand-alone article about the deceased because the entire article is about the deceased and this usually considered sufficient to meet WP:NFC#CS and long as the remaining nine non-free content use criteria are all also satisfied. However, moving the image to another article, particularly to an in-body section, completely changes the justification for the file's non-free use and in such cases a much stronger justification (e.g. actual critical commentary obout the image itself) is considered necessary than simply wanting to show the individual in question. There's nothing really in article about Benjamine/Zain in the article about the church that reqiures the reader actually see this particular image. It's nice perhaps, but not needed to understand anything written in the article; therefore, using it doesn't really significantly improve the reader's understand to such a degree that not seeing it would be detrimental to that understanding.

A tag has been placed on Category:Burials in Contra Costa County, California indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 22:12, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
