There are several reasons why I nominated the article about your company for deletion. First, there's Wikipedia:Spam. Secondly, there's the google test. The rival you mentioned, Akqa.com, gets over 16,000 hits. Tamar.com gets less than 900 hits, of which a substantial part isn't even about you, but about Brazilian turtles. Thirdly, there's WP:CORP, which indeed says that a company is notable if it "has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the company itself." I'll be honest with you: I'm not sure I consider branch magazines like Marketing Week or Revolution non-trivial. Aecis I'm too busy acting like I'm not naive. 13:03, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply - I appreciate you taking the time to explain all this to a newbie like me.

If you really have to delete it I will understand, though if I could make changes and have you revise your decision I would obviously prefer that.

The places we are mentioned are admittedly industry relevant publications, but agencies very rarely get mentioned in anywhere but. We have had lots of mentions in the national newspapers though.

Could you name a few of those national newspapers? Because they would be reliable sources consistent with the non-trivial works in WP:CORP. Aecis I'm too busy acting like I'm not naive. 13:20, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have some media-related examples below, and do have examples of more user-friendly stuff, but the lady who has the info isn't in until tomorrow... will my page still be online by then? Update I have added some citations and references, and slightly changed the wording to be less contentious. Am I on the right lines? Henweb 09:32 GMT, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
