Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:20, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

AfD of Northern Cyprus

Don't do that please. Thanks. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 17:44, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, but keep on mind that I my edits are keep getting deleted, even though they are well sourced and real, and they are also reporting me and threatening me for those. The result is having propaganda articles against Cyprus, something that is totally unfair and unacceptable and me getting blocked for adding well sourced truths.

I understand Giorgos. But the answer is not to escalate things in response. Try to discuss with the opposing editors instead of clicking the revert/undo button. That way you will be more respected and far less likely to get blocked. If you continue edit-warring you will reach a stage where you will get blocked for a long time or even for an indefinite time. Try to slow down and discuss things. Otherwise, my opinion is that it doesn't look good for you at the moment. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 18:17, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have tried to discuss with them, got threats for it, and all my edits were well sourced, logical and truthful with no lies on what so ever. Wikipedia articles on Cyprus do not look good at the moment, since they are lacking reality, truth and a more realistic way of presenting things plus that are full with turkish propaganda, like the 1571 one. Anyhow, I will see what I am going to do.

Thank you Giorgo for considering my advice. It is far better for you to be around editing than getting blocked or banned from this site. I know there are many faults and POV in many articles about Cyprus and about many other subjects. But going around edit-warring endlessly to correct these POVs is not the answer. Discussion is needed and if that doesn't work, go to the third opinion WP:3O or the dispute resolution noticeboard WP:DRN. Take care. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 18:42, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at List of wars involving Turkey

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: ((unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~)). However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The full report is at this 3RR complaint (permalink). Any admin may lift this block if you will agree to a voluntary break from any articles involving Northern Cyprus, Cyprus, Greece or Turkey for one month. You could still participate on Talk. Because this appears to be a nationalist edit war, I'm also notifying you under WP:ARBMAC (see below). EdJohnston (talk) 13:18, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
