There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put ((My sandbox))
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, including at the Cuba article. Unfortunately, I had to undo them, because you failed to observe some critically important Wikipedia policies, including those on WP:Verifiability of all content you add, using citations to reliable sources. Also, if you remove valid content which is appropriately sourced, as you recently did, you have to leave an explanation. Don't worry, your work on the Cuba article is not gone—it's all preserved in the History of the article, so you don't have to retype everything. But you do have to source everything; if you're not sure what I mean by that, please start by having a look at the links in the Welcome message I left you above, and the links in this message about WP:Verifiability. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 10:31, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for your recent contributions to Cuba. Before you click the "Publish changes" button to save your work, it's always a good idea to check your work first to make sure what you publish, is what you meant to publish. You can check your work by clicking "Show Preview", and/or "Show Changes" buttons in the shaded section below the Edit box where you typed your changes to the article:

explaining how this edit improves the article.
The Show Preview button shows you what the whole article (or section) will look like, if you publish the article. The Show Changes button shows just what you changed, in Wikipedia's special, Diff format. Please add an Edit Summary every time you change the article. I see that in this edit, you have undone my revert of your edits at Cuba. This is contrary to Wikipedia's WP:BRD editing guideline on content disagreement. If you face opposition from another editor, don't insist on your point of view, but talk it out instead. When you Boldly add material and it is challenged and Removed by another editor, then the next step is to Discuss the content with other editors. You can do this by going to the talk page of the article, and explaining why you believe your edits are an improvement to the article, and try to gain consensus from other editors for your point of view. Your revert was improper, and you should self-revert, and come to the Talk page and discuss.
You should also read up on Wikipedia's policy on edit warring, because it looks like you may be headed in that direction. You're still quite new here, so you should spend some time with the links I left you in the welcome message above, and use the edit summary field to explain your edits.
