February 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Politanvm. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Mark McBride, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! POLITANVM talk 06:22, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Ahmetlii. I noticed that in this edit to Emery L. Frazier, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ahmetlii (talk) 15:23, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Ahmetlii. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Emery L. Frazier, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ahmetlii (talk) 15:26, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

List of vegetarian/vegan additions[edit]

Hi there! First off, welcome to Wikipedia! Please feel free to make an account if you'd like as there are a number of benefits to having one. Second, I'd caution you with adding List of vegetarians and List of vegans to a large number of pages. Many of the pages you're adding that to don't say anything about that person being a vegetarian or a vegan, so it's not really appropriate to add that to pages. I've reverted a few examples but please be aware of that. Moreover, this sort of list, at least to me, doesn't really seem appropriate to add to a lot of pages because it's a characteristic that's pretty generic and probably applies to a very large number of people. So it doesn't really seem noteworthy to add to me. Anyway, welcome again and I hope you enjoy your time here. Thanks! DocFreeman24 (talk) 04:27, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. While some of these people are notable because they’re vegan or vegetarian, many are not. Adding the link to those lists is no more relevant than lists of people from the same country, lists of actors, etc. For articles that don’t have any mention of them being vegan or vegetarian, I’m removing the list. Templates[edit]

Hello 116.0.3.238,

I noticed with your recent edit to John Scammon, that you manually added in his age. This is appreciated as a contribution, however, it is easier to utilize one of the templates available: Template:Death date and age. If you have any questions, or would like some help, feel free to reach out on my talk page.

Thank you again for your contribution.
