We all have a life outside of Wikipedia, this gives us something to contribute, but also shapes our contributions. We should all work hard to contribute with a neutral point of view, and doing that means understanding ourselves and where we're coming from in the first place. I can't attempt to correct my own bias, if I'm not aware of it. This is some idea of where I'm coming from -
If you download the Firefox web browser, then there is an extension called Update Scanner, which will monitor web pages for changes, and then provide a little pop-up on your computer when that happens. Wikipedia has a special page just for you called your Watchlist, you can choose to watch just about any patch with the "watch" tab at the top of it. This page will be updated whenever one of the pages you're watching changes. If you set update scanner to monitor your watchpage, you'll be notified of any change to a wikipedia article that you're interested in.
