This article lacks Citations of any kind. It is much better to connect the references to the text by adding citations, as it easier to check over the citations, and avoid original research and unverifiable claims. --HandGrenadePins (talk) 09:09, 18 July 2008 (UTC).[reply]
These lengthy sections were highlighted as possibly 'not important or relevant' (i.e. to this article) back in November 2017. Some seven years later there is still not a single in-line citation or obvious source. For Operation Lemon and Casa Banana, a quick google search only seems to return this Wikipedia article, or obviously direct copies. Meanwhile Zimbabwe's involvement in the Mozambique Civil War is better covered in that article, not here.
Ok, so I have now found an archive source for Operation Lemon etc, but I still feel such operational detail is not relevant to this ZDF article. Instead I am comfortable to simply state that ZDF were broadly involved in the Mozambique Civil War.
