While many waterspouts form in the tropics, locations farther north within temperate zones also report waterspouts, such as Europe and the Great Lakes. - If i remember correctly there was one reported in New Zealand this year which means this sentence needs changing. In Fact BOM observed one in Sydney this year which isnt considered to be in the tropics. ASW
Ive jsut noticed that one of the references isnt done properly ie <ref name="">((cite web|url=|title=|last=|first=|coauthors=|date=|work=|publisher=|pages=|language=|accessdate=))</ref>

Wierdly i just went on the [HKOs website] and found this press release which may or may not give you some extra details
I would like to see some more references in the Non-tornadic Formation and Life cycles sections - Im assuming in good faith that the references already there cover the details mentioned in the sections so i think its just a case of Refname="A" or whatever . I also realise you are getting V busy as we approach the NHEM peak for TCs during the next few weeks so im happy to keep this GA on hold untill you get chance to deal with my comments. :)Jason Rees (talk) 10:34, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
