CBS' recent press release only presents its fall lineup. There's no indication if TAR14 will be picked up for winter/spring 2009 yet. --Madchester (talk) 16:44, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Hey people. Uh, apparently there's a source (as shown on the page itself) to back up the fact that TAR14 will be filmed in November 2008? Then shouldn't the statement that "filming took place mid-August to mid-October" be removed since it seems outdated and contradictory to the more latest source? DanielTAR (talk) 07:40, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
When will it air? Badagnani (talk) 02:25, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
well feb 15 2009 is the date and its at 8pm on sunday nites. 72.137.92.174 (talk) 15:08, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
unless you people don't know how to read it clearly states at the top that it will air Feb 15, 2009 at 8pm EST —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.226.241.84 (talk) 14:43, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, it is not mention in WP:RS that photo can be a burden evidence EXCEPT you know about the date of that magazine published. --Aleenf1 08:01, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
I noticed that this season uses new fonts for the team names and the route markers. I know they originally used Eurostile, but now they use one similar to Bank Gothic, but I'm not sure.
They also seem to use new icons. So far, they used the lowercase i (i) for the Route Info and this symbol (>|) for the Roadblock. But of course, we should use the old ones for consistency, right? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 02:55, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Italy should be colored in, as some teams chose to travel though Milan, Italy, as others did Germany. No roadblocks, or detours were performed in either country. If Germany is colored, so should Italy.--Subman758 (talk) 03:25, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Shouldn't there be only 3 continents visited?
USA belongs to North America. Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Romania and Russia are part of Europe. India, Thailand and People's Republic of China are part of Asia.
So there should only be three continents, not four.LordBelly06 (talk) 06:12, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Hawaii Is Part Of U.S.A, But It Is On Oceania. (Gonzalochileno (talk) 14:45, 19 February 2009 (UTC))
So i was wondering does anyone happen to know when the tryouts for season 15 will be? You know the deadline to recieve the audition tapes? :0) thanks for everyone's help!!!!
Mredy2323 (talk) 03:06, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
you will make a page for tar 15?, just like survivor 19. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gonzalochileno (talk • contribs) 02:48, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
This really isn't the place for this kind of question... talk pages are meant to be about editing the article, not talking about gossip and the likes.Stjimmy61892 (talk) 00:08, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Hey everyone, I'm pretty new, so this may seem strange, but can we make the relationships more consistent with the past seasons? It seems unlikely that the actual show is going to have those exact words as relationships in the subtitles.
Some other changes sound better as well (and they aren't just made up):
Just an idea I think will make the table better - feel free to discuss. Hooky6 (talk) 05:19, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
The way it appears now is the way they are credited on the show and is how they should remain on the article. KuyaBriBriTalk 20:17, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
And in terms of "Preston and Jennifer" 'sounding and looking better' than "Jennifer and Preston", that's all a matter of opinion, which we can't base our information on.Stjimmy61892 (talk) 00:10, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
it was not victor who really said that. everybody is actually yelling/asking gorilla?gorilla?? 121.1.18.241 (talk) 16:56, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Actually, if you listen to when Victor starts saying it, it's specifically shown 3 times him saying the word Gorilla, and nothing else(In a short period of time), thus the title. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.17.99.175 (talk) 02:34, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Umm... does everyone not know when the specific episodes aired? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.64.96.233 (talk) 02:03, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
What? How is this even relivant to the article, the main page shows the season run, it isnt a tv guide.. Anyone who follows the amazing race 14 would know when an episode has aired :3 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.17.99.175 (talk) 02:39, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
There appears to be an edit war over an unaired Fast Forward in Leg 7. The TAR 12 page shows that there is an unaired FF in Leg 5 and reflected it in the Results table, but that page cites a post-race interview. If you are going to re-post the existence of an un-aired FF, please cite. KuyaBriBriTalk 17:07, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks SamK1994 (talk · contribs) for adding a reference to this unaired FF. KuyaBriBriTalk 16:05, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
How come they don't show fast forwards in some cases? Don't the teams wanna use? Seems in most cases the fast forward is snapped up, did CBS explain why? Maybe the task was an eating one lol —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.17.99.175 (talk) 19:50, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
I just added the annotation back to the result table after 58.8.118.75 had removed it. Should the "UnairedFF" cite be added to the results table too? 192.31.106.35 (talk) 21:30, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Probably best you just keep as is, if people remove again just fix and fix and fix until they get bored of vandalizing.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.17.99.175 (talk) 16:02, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Someone has been adding an uncited reference to an unaired task in Guilin at the Folded Brocade Mountains. Please do not re-add this unless it is cited in the same way we cited the unaired FF on Leg 7. A post-Race interview with Mark & Michael or any subsequent eliminated team that explicitly states the existence of an unaired task at that location should suffice. KuyaBriBriTalk 13:46, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks Masem (talk · contribs) for providing a source of unaired miscellaneous task. ApprenticeFan talk contribs 02:53, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
why was the reference to "via Guangzhou, China" removed in leg 9? 67.49.116.255 (talk) 07:07, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
since there was no response, i put the reference back in with a citation, in case there was any doubt 67.49.116.255 (talk) 15:45, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Pretty much agreed, it wasn't an important place in the race either, it was one of few stops to get what essentially was their first clues to get the race moving. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.15.1.234 (talk • contribs) 22 April 2009
Just because I'm paranoid about it, was there a Roadblock at all during Leg 7? Just seems odd they would skip a Roadblock point in the middle of a race, and in a leg with a Fast Forward. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Playsfair234 (talk • contribs) 05:32, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
With two tables for US and Canada ratings, wouldn't it be easier, and less repetitive, to combine the two tables into one? We can add the two columns of Canada ratings to the right end of the US table, label each half properly, and reduce the space the two tables currently occupy. I'm not entirely sure if ratings belong on here anyway, but that's a different issue. Any thoughts on keeping separate or combining? --Mtjaws (talk) 16:37, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
The American ratings table goes into more detail than the Canadian, if you were to keep both but combine itd make the page bigger to say the least.. As for the ratings, some other shows on wiki have ratings listed somewhere.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.15.1.234 (talk) 17:07, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
I Think Canadian Table Is Not Necessary, Because The Show Is Aired In A Lot Of Countries In The World, If So, We Have To Add A Lot Of Tables Gonzalochileno (talk) 22:08, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
I noticed people have editted the page to include the title of the second China leg as episode 11, since the results table is counting this show as having 11 episodes, how are we going to put a title for the final leg?(USA) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.15.1.234 (talk • contribs)
"He made me look like Alice Cooper" was changed by CBS to "No More Mr. Nice Guy". Do we list both? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.106.222.101 (talk) 04:40, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
What name should I use for "Niao Chao", the actual words or "Beijing National Stadium"? WadeSimMiser (talk) 00:51, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
If wikipedia has an article on Niao Chao couldnt someone link that to the word? I'm not sure if that's done automatically, but it makes more sense instead of dumbing the word down, and would give reference to what was actually said on the episode.
I think we need to consider that the double-length leg was considered to be two separate legs with no Pit Stop between. The last RB claims there were 11 legs before the last leg (10 if you consider the Beijing double-leg to be a single one). Plus we have this CBS pre-race map that gives the 11th Pit Stop in Beijing (a second one). It would be nice to see better confirmation on this before changing. --MASEM (t) 04:08, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me but the map only shows up to the number 11 + 2 stars showing start and ending points.. Either way I can't make a judgement, im not a member here lol —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.16.9.241 (talk) 04:33, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Although it clearly shows teams did a Detour (with Jaime & Cara holding the Detour clue to the driver telling them to go to Beach 118). I would rather wait for a reference to re-add this part. Also, it seems that the pig task was the actual Detour task, because Jaime & Cara told the driver to go to Beach 118 from the Detour clue. It seems to be just shown as a regular task (like in Season 5), with it not being portrayed as a Detour and other teams simply not choosing the other task. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Playsfair234 (talk • contribs) 12:58, 11 May 2009 UTC
