I really feel that MMOG Middleware (yes, I know that is how it is referred in the Project Darkstar article) doesn't properly emphasize the fact that RedDwarf is pretty much entirely the server-side. The client-side APIs don't actually do anything in terms of MMOGs -- they just help with network communications between the client and the server. The client itself is completely up to the developer, independent of RedDwarf Server. Perhaps "MMOG Server Middleware" would make RedDwarf's actual role a bit clearer?
I recommend the body of the article be merged into this article since Project Darkstar was simply forked and renamed, as it were, into RedDwarf. The Project Darkstar official website appears to be non-responsive and RedDwarf is continuing on. Ultimately, I would envision a redirect to the RedDwarf Server article once the merge is complete. .digamma (talk) 12:46, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
