I don't think this should be merged with telepresence, which is a psychological phenomenon. Telerobotics is a field upon itself. Goertz himself was much more an engineer than a psychologist and I don't think it would serve his contribution well to lump him in the other category.
The ANS webpage for the award in his honour [1] refers to him as "the late", but I can't find an obituary there (at least in the public sections). Does anyone have access such an obituary? VinculumMan (talk) 15:13, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
