As with other dates, I have been removing entries for people who have few or no articles in other language wikipedias and thus not internationally well known. This makes the section more manageable. Where possible, those that have been removed have been transferred to the relevant Year in Topic articles. This is not an observance but a historical event. Perhaps it used to be an observance but it doesn't fit under Holidays and Observances. I'll remove it. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 13:41, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
