Unfortunately there is no data about the exact place, all we know is that it was filmed somewhere in Florida. And about "castle" or "palace", it is actually defined as a "castle" in the source. No, its not a palace either (my first guess was wrong), it is the Miami Biltmore Hotel (which has been a hotel from the start) … But we can't state this without a source, unfortunately.
