As of today, there are no references to this episode title on the official Family Guy website. There are references at Planet-FamilyGuy.com, the Family Guy fan wiki and TV.com, so hopefully I've not been led astray on this one. Cromulent Kwyjibo 23:02, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
As of today, familyguy.com -> Upcoming Events -> Upcoming Events -> September confirms that the September 17 episode is indeed titled "Mother Tucker." Cromulent Kwyjibo 16:59, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
I definately see a lot of KLSX in WQHG, but, are we certain that this isnt based on an east coast station with a similar format? The only show I realy see that would fit the one on family guy is Conway and Whitman or John and Jeff, neither of whom do mornings.
I noticed that in the episode on Adult Swim, the audio from when the sausage launcher thing launches at the girl and she says "that one felt like my dad" is edited out, but the wierd audio sounds "incest in the morning, 97.1, SUPPRESSED MEMORIES" is still in there
^Its true. The Fox rebroadcast of this episode has that part dropped. I just saw it on TV and noticed it was missing.--Ragemanchoo 03:54, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
During the sequence where Thelma & Tom are treating Peter as a child a version of Barbra Streisand’s ‘Medley’ is playing. Does anyone know who is the artist of this version? Joneboi 04:09, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I found what I was looking for. The song is called "Give Me the Simple Life" perfomed by June Christy. [1] Joneboi 08:24, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
“This title parodies a swear word. The trick is to replace the ‘T’ in Tucker with an ‘F.’ ” Doesn’t that sound stupid?—172.200.29.195 19:14, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
I've noticed the reference at the end of the episode to a phrase in a The Simpsons Episode ("Deep Space Homer" 1F13) when Quagmire and Cleveland are shown in the radio station and after their intro the announcer voice says "In Rod We Trust", which happens to be the same phrase on the Time magazine featuring the inanimate carbon rod in The Simpsons episode mentioned above - Kranis00 02:27, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Here are some suggestions for you, by section, to work on while the GA is on hold.
That's basically it, I'm fixing the grammar/spelling/capitalization, and the article is on hold for 1 week, otherwise it automatically fails. Regards, Neranei (talk) 21:57, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of October 21, 2007, compares against the six good article criteria:
The only suggestion I could give is to make it a little bit less in-universe. It was a little confusing at first with all of the names, so I suggest that you work on it, but that's it. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to Good article reassessment. Thank you to all of the editors who worked hard to bring it to this status, and congratulations. Does anyone know what the scene with Stewie acting as a church figure is referencing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.180.85.70 (talk) 18:01, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
It's from the film "Harold And Maude." Peter mentions it just before the cutaway. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.206.222.208 (talk) 06:30, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
I just thought I'd add another movie reference. When Stewie plays the "Don't you do it" sound on the radio it's a direct quote of Richard Gere as Zach Mayo in "An Officer And A Gentleman". Kurisu rs (talk) 14:19, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Stewie uses a sound clip from the movie Philadelphia with tom hanks and Denzel Washington Yami (talk) 19:43, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Could someone help me. My contributions says i contributed to this article in the cultural references but i can't remember what is was. Yami (talk) 19:43, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
There's a reference to Little Britain, when Peter points and says "I want that one" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.229.241.173 (talk) 17:42, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Shall we mention about Thaddeus? (Peter Griffin's evil twin) 190.49.158.90 (talk) 00:40, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
On the Adult Swim verson its "Mothertucker" but on Fox its called "Mother Does Tucker" should we put this on there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by ArcangelLaMarivilla (talk • contribs) 21:49, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
I find it highly unlikely that only one man gave an opinion on this episode; the entire reception section is both short and supported by a single source. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 19:21, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
I feel that this article is in serious need of an overall copyedit. Its reception section also consists of just two brief reviews (one of which is from a review of the entire season) and the ratings. This flaw was noted in the talk page by another editor more than a year ago, but was neither responded to nor dealt with since. I also feel that this article may not be notable (Wikipedia:Notability) enough, since its entire notability is pretty much based on one review. Everything else is primary sources. A quick look at the talk page shows that the initial review was very superficial, so I would like a community assessment of it. Ωphois 09:57, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
