May I please ask User:Vienna2 why they have replaced all the properly formatted footnotes and references with undocumented inline urls? And why was the Biography section which had been edited for neutral, encylopedic tone, with proper formatting and linking of opera titles, conductors, singers, etc. (hours of work by other editors) replaced with a messy, completely unformatted, piece of public relations for this singer?. Note I have again removed "future performances". Add them to the article once they have taken place. This is an encyclopedia article, not a newsletter, personal web site, or advertisment for Ms. Caruana. If there is no significant improvement within two days, I am going to revert the biography to a version similar to this [1]. Voceditenore (talk) 18:49, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yesterday, another editor from the wikification project spent considerable time copy-editing this article and formatting it. Once again, User:Vienna2 has reverted all the work, re-added the 'advertising language', etc. with no explanation whatsoever, and no discussion on the talk page. I am now going to revert the article back to the last properly formatted, neutrally worded version. Please do not replace it again without discussing on this talk page first. Voceditenore (talk) 18:07, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
User:Vienna2 has now twice reverted the work of two different editors, removed maintenance templates without explantion and most recently has blanked the article (apart from a single sentence) with no explanation whatsover. I have restored the content he/she deleted. It may be replaced replace with this version, which would be preferable as it contains proper formatting, minimal references, and neutral language. However, if the editor in question continues to blank the article, it will be considered vandalism and I will have no choice but to report their actions to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. Once again, please note that once you have chosen to create an article on Wikipedia, you no longer own it. The article is not an alternative website for Ms. Caruana, and you may not treat it as such. It must comply with all Wikipedia standards for fomatting, referencing and neutral point of view. Voceditenore (talk) 09:01, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The formatted and neutrally worded version was restored yesterday by another editor. Since then, I have copy-edited for style, expanded the lead slightly, removed excessive red links, formatted the references so they are no longer bare URLs, added further references and a recordings section. I have also removed the maintenance tags as they no longer apply. User:Vienna2, if you wish to make any additions or copy-edits to this article, please do them individually, respecting the existing formatting and referencing conventions in the surrounding text. Do not remove the entire version and replace it with a completely new version of your own as you have done several times in the past. By doing this you removed all the work of other editors. In future any such wholesale edits will be immediately reverted. Voceditenore (talk) 09:55, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
