Why are there so many airline disasters listed under "Structural failures" ?
Eg: TWA Flight 800, BOAC Flight 781 - both mid air explosions.
Should airline disasters at all mentioned in this list? Under "structural failures and collapses" one associate collapses of bridges, buildings, towers, masts, etc., but no plane crashes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.46.206.211 (talk) 14:28, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Perhaps there are different reasons for an airplane to, say, explode in mid-air, and ones related to structural problems as opposed to chemical or other problems would, I'd say, count as a "structural" failure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.227.7.35 (talk) 14:45, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Why not two separate lists, one for fixed structures, the other for vehicles?
Tunnel/ excavated structures are missing, eg Gerards Cross and Nicoll Highway collapse (both have entries in wikipedia). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.196.187 (talk) 19:36, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
In November 2012, a Ghanan supermarket building collapsed, killing about 15.

Why has this (June 2009) taken so long to resolve? Problems with other articles have been resolved almost instantly in comparison. By now, either the problem has been slowly resolved to an extent worth removing the template, or if it is unresolvable, the article should be deleted. 60.242.247.177 (talk) 22:53, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

This article needs some inclusion criteria for notability, or every time someones garden gazebo collapses would be included. I propose we limit it to collapses which have:

the wilson bridge in tours, france collapsed in april 1978. there were no injured as the last car just managed to pass the bridge before the collapse. for several months the city was divided as this was one of few bridges over the river loire. there are few english sources for this but several French, should it be included? if so I could look up suitable sources. 84.215.194.30 (talk) 22:39, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
