I imagine the "kid line" is because of their youth but I think it can be explained a bit. Maybe alongside young forwards Brayden Schenn and Jakub Voráček
took a puck to the leg from the Colorado Avalanche, this seems awkwardly worded to me. It should say during a game against the Colorado Avalanche or even name the specific player.

Sorry, but I've never seen sentences starting with a lower case letter before, surely it should be "Van Riemsdyk" at the start of a sentence, not "van Riemsdyk"? Gatoclass (talk) 11:42, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure it's covered by MOS but "van" here is a tussenvoegsel and should be capitalised if no other name precedes it (James van Reimsdyk, Mr J van Reimsdyk, but Van Reimsdyk or Mr Van Reimsdyk, for example). It shouldn't appear in lower case at the start of a sentence. ᵹʀᴀᴘᴘʟᴇꭗ22:57, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Article is new enough (GA promoted on October 30), definitely long enough, neutrally written, and well sourced. No issues detected by Earwig. Both hooks are interesting and verified to given sources which are cited in the article. For DYK purposes, consider duplicating ref #93 at the end of the hook sentence (like "... deflected off of his face into the net.[93]" Strong preference for the first hook (puck bouncing off his face). QPQ done. Image is compatibly licensed and clear at 100px, but it is not used in the article, which is required. DanCherek (talk) 04:42, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DanCherek I have added the reference accordingly and have moved the images around so that the one in the DYK is the header image and the one that was in the infobox is in the body. I have also capitalized "Van" any time it starts a sentence, even though I think that policy is silly because it's not actually his name. — GhostRiver17:17, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
