Florinda's 1994 marriage to a woman (?) is not referenced. The links to her bio are broken - the sustainedaction website appears to have been shut down. So - little support for the timeline! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Buburuza (talk • contribs) 18:12, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
I appreciate the work that's been put into this wiki article. The references, however, could use some editing.
Some references point to an empty google page and should be deleted. Many references point to the sustained action home page. These should be edited to point to the actual page where the supporting data can be found, and/or consolidated into one reference at the beginning of the section. Some references point to blogs and blogs are not considered appropriate as verifiable references per wiki guidelines. Finally, some references point to second tier articles. The primary article reference should be used exclusively for wiki article references. Mmyotis (talk) 04:21, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
The Biography section would better be called a Timeline of events since that's actually what it is. Comments? Also, I removed the following sentence recently added to the biography section, since it's relevance to Donner or the time line is not apparent:
The Jump into the Abyss was a central turning point in the path of a seer.

The Sustained Action sources do not appear to meet reliability requirements. The material used is written by Corey Donovan. Based on the email addresses in the domain registration, Donovan also owns or co-owns the site. Donovan does not appear to be a published expert on the topic, and the expert exception doesn't even apply due to the fact that Donner is still listed as a living, though missing, person. This article probably needs to be stubbed to remove the reliance on unreliable sources. Yworo (talk) 19:10, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
The cited Salon.com article uses Sustained Action/Reaction data as primary sources (a self-published source), which does not comply with WP:RS and which should be removed.92.24.218.199 (talk) 02:05, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
The current reflist is locked and cannot be edited without know-how that I do not possess. It contains a link to an article that uses unsubstantiated Scientology data and references and links to self-published website data, also with links to Scientology. Someone with better knowledge than I should remove said link from the reflist, as it fails WP:EL. This is not a new situation: it has been ongoing for several years and, although said link has been rightly expunged from other Castaneda-related articles, it remains here, protected.
It should be removed forthwith. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.147.25.137 (talk) 23:26, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
The mess of a Carlos Castaneda page listed her as one of his companions who disappeared after he died. It says there has been no investigation. I got curious, came here, and nothing is mentioned about it. Punstress (talk) 22:27, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Quote Wiki: "Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced – whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable – should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion. Users who persistently or egregiously violate this policy may be blocked from editing."
I have removed Myotis' edit in which he/she posted contentious material about living persons. The women concerned are not 'missing'. Their constitutional right to privacy is paramount. Two of the women that Myotis mentioned have already had their Wikipages deleted due to infringement of WP:BLP.
BTW The Pahrump Valley Times article, to which Myotis posted a link as substantiation, is not a reliable source. It's written by a freelance and contains more contentious material about the same women. Not only has the article never been syndicated to a national newspaper (a sure sign of unreliability), it also contains unsubstantiated allegations about the Inyo County Coroner's Court and their DNA findings concerning some human remains in their district. The Inyo County Coroner's Court has no records whatsoever of any pathology nor inquest concerning the woman cited. For this reason, the wikipage that had been created about her has been deleted. 92.24.222.130 (talk) 01:47, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
User:Lugnuts posted a template on the article, which states that the subject is deceased, as per the relevant spanish Wiki page.
Upon checking this info, there is no mention of the subject being deceased on the .es Wiki page.
I shall now revert Lugnuts' latest edit, as per WIKI:BLP.92.28.24.235 (talk) 13:54, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
Is Donner proven to be still alive? The article is categorised: formerly missing people Manytexts (talk) 01:46, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
