Personally I don't have the page editing skills to make a page for the deadites, but I think that their big enough of a fictional concept to have their own page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.210.129.51 (talk) 14:13, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's actually not impossible that this edit-warred removal is incorrect. Is literally no one else making the claim that the actor is not the one we're including? What are we using as a source for Mia Challis? The source at Evil Dead Rise only says that she's been reported to be joining the cast and that she will play Jessica. I'm not sure that's good enough to keep readding something we aren't sure about and which someone is disputing? I think we need a better citation to support this information. Thank you! You should go to IMDb since Mike Allen doesn’t pay attention to this kind of stuff and just edit pages with the information he thinks is right. On IMDb is the entire cast and it says that Jessica is played by Anna-Maree Thomas and we can also spot that actress in the trailer scalping someone. 213.233.88.63 (talk) 15:00, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
IP, unfortunately because IMDb is crowdsourced, Wikipedia doesn't consider it a reliable source. We need some reliable source telling us who is playing Jessica, and if you google "Mia Challis" "Evil Dead", she's mentioned as a cast member in multiple hits. "Anne-Maree Thomas" and "Evil Dead" brings up basically nothing. Valereee (talk) 15:14, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes! I understand what you’re saying and I respect that you’re saying it without mocking what I said just like that man did. Check this article to draw some conclusions! Hope this helps!
To be fair, you were edit-warring to insert or remove content without providing a reliable source; perhaps as a very new editor you didn't realize the talk page was where we discussed such things. We also frown on making personal attacks, even when very frustrated, so please avoid that in future. Try to assume good faith, even when you think someone is incorrect.
Hello. Yes AOL is reposting the Deadline Hollywood review which is a reliable source. That’s all I have ever asked for from this IP user from day one, a reliable source. This morning I had removed all but the, at the time, verifiable principal cast members from Evil Dead Rise. I will add the new source with the other cast when I get home tonight (I don’t like mobile editing) unless someone already does. There was no need to make any of this personal.
