GA unsuccessful[edit]

The article starts off OK, but there are some referencing problems in the second half. It needs a bit more work before it can reach GA.

Feel free to ask for another review on my talk page. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 08:52, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • That all seems more than reasonable, although I'd be inclined to keep the safety section - I hadn't intended to add it originally, (I was just planning to add the History section) but almost all of the literature (both the academic and media) made mention of the topic, with a number of articles specifically about the safety considerations. My understanding was that the concern for child safety is a key issue about the success of the game, and was what differentiated it from the teen and "adult" products. But that may need to be emphasized more if I can find a valid source. Thanks heaps for having a look. :) - Bilby (talk) 09:04, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I'll dart off an e-mail to Club Penguin to see if they will allow us to use their logo. --Vinni3 (talk) 13:44, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Asking would be wise, but generally I gathered that logos can come under fair use. As I don't play the game I can't help here, but a screenshot in-game might also be useful, with an appropriate rationale. The map and cards are good, but I did find myself wondering what it might look like when being played. - Bilby (talk) 13:54, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for that. They're good, but they don't really say much about the game itself. To help justify fair use, the image probably needs to be of clear value to the article. Thus we can get away with logos, or shots that show something relevant in the game that can't be shown otherwise, but my feeling is that they would be a tad iffy. :) - Bilby (talk) 23:59, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
