Bracket
Corrected Canadian dialect usage. Removed uncited information about country usage. Added a secondary source (sources on what Canadians call these terms are rare, so used a source using the terms in the mentioned way). No source is worse than a primary source, and there's no rule banning the use of primary sources (WP:PRIMARY). Descriptive statements of facts are allowed, and this is one of them (list item 3). This citation doesn't violate list item 5, which is what you were maybe thinking.Tags: RevertedVisual edit

Undid revision 1184383413 by Drmies (talk) Actually, the only reason I edited it was because it explicitly mentioned Canada as a country that used the term "bracket" to refer to parentheses, without a source. I decided to correct this. You're reverting to a version that itself has a minute detail that is not cited even by a primary source, so I'd ask you to stop reverting this even if the lack of secondary source is bothersome.Tags: UndoReverted

Undid revision 1184382583 by Drmies (talk) I'm totally confused, you're saying if the information is incorrect I can't correct it because it's a small detail? I'm just not sure how to respond to that. As for what the source is, it's the official governmental recommendations on Canadian English.Tags: UndoReverted

Medicare (Canada)
Undid revision 1181934572 by Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) Wikipedia requires a consistent spelling throughout the article. The article uses the more common spelling of "program" in Canadian English. Just because it can still be considered correct doesn't make it proper to keep it as the rest of the article doesn't. And I'll have you know that "programme" is never seen in Canada, no matter what the dictionary says.Tags: UndoMobile editMobile app editAndroid app edit
