Takri script
An attempt was made to show Dogra Takri to be predecessor for Takri script. This is a completely wrong understanding as Dogra Takri was adapted from a older form of Takri & includes Devanagari elements for writing. It was also wrongly claimed that Dogra Takri was used to in Kangra, Chamba & Mandi regions of Himachal. These regions had their own different variety. Another wrong claim made was that the script was used for Central Pahari languages. No such document has been discovered.Tags: RevertedVisual edit

Kangri language
So called linguists of any particular languages have been claiming other's language as part of their own language. This is a common sight in India. Kangri writers & poet for now work for Pahari language's cause. Therefore, while talking about sensitive issues like dialect or language, it should reflect the opinions of the native speakers & not fancies of others.Tag: Visual edit

Kumaoni language
Removed reference for Takri being used for Kumauni. This is not a verified information. The Takri Unicode pdf mentions Takri for Kumauni but fails to provide any sample of Kumauni written in it. The self portrait of a Kumauni King has his name written in Takri, but that is not a proof for Takri's usage for Kumauni Language.Tags: Visual editMobile editMobile web edit
