Alistair MacLean
→Allegedly written by Alistair MacLean: No source whatsoever attributed to this claim. No record on WorldCAT. Impossible to believe Maclean (had he written this book) would have reelased it in Polish but not in English, at the height of his fame. Maclean didn't speak Polish. Another website sugegsts this was actually a novel by Tadeusz Kostecki (Droga powrotna Płowego Jima) written in 1947.
