I'd rather use "which" instead of "that" so that the line " 'sex' is replaced by an echo of the word 'oral' THAT precedes it in the standard album version from ''Tattoos' & 'Talk Dirty'" becomes " 'sex' is replaced by an echo of the word 'oral' WHICH precedes it in the standard album version from ''Tattoos' & 'Talk Dirty'", that feels more natural to me as a reader, the way you employ "than" rather than "that" after comparatives or supperlatives like I just did when I said "rather THAN"
