→Origins: Removing ridiculous, unsourced statement; Alba was never the "name of the Picts" in Irish, or any other language. Alba is the Old Irish reflex of the older name of Britain, *Albiiu (Greco-Latin Albion)

I don't agree with Campbell article, but it shouldn't be removed. Your second batch of edits contain no refs and look like POV pushing; also, Alba is Old Irish and not the Pictish word for Britain (which surely was closer to Brittonic *Pritani)

Sulis
(I Reverted to wrong version) The name is Brittonic; it was an i-stem (proved by the Old Irish cognate suil); it's proper form is *Sulis, not *Sul (Brittonic had no nouns ending in -l).

Undid revision 870309863 by Urselius (talk) Your added sources are thirty plus years old and totally outdated; furthermore, Myres and Whittock aren't even linguists! Whittock isn't even a specialist in Anglo-Saxon studies!Tag: Undo

WP:UNDUE; some may erroneously repeat the idea that Cynric and Cunorix are related, but it is phonologically impossible

Insular Celts
Undid revision 870176283 by Jacob D (talk) I can't think of any scholars today who posit that Britain was Celticized in the Iron Age. No serious scholars date Celticization prior to the Bronze Age, thoughTag: Undo
