Talk:Johnny Jebsen
The hyphen between his first name Johann and the Danish surname Nielsen is odd. What's the original/primary source for this unusual combination? (it looks like it's just copied from one secondary source to another)

List of former sovereign states
→Modern Germany: doesn't meet the criteria, it was an autonomous part of the Danish realm from c. 1130 to 1864, then governed by Prussia to 1866 when it was annexed following the Austro-Prussian war; and the old border earldom prior to feudalization can't be included under any criteria

Denmark Democrats
Danmarksdemokraterne is the definite form, we use The Sweden Democrats in the article Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna)

Abraham Brodersson
he was born in Denmark (Halland), came from a noble family originating in Denmark (Halland) and owned land and held offices in both realms, best to avoid loaded terms like "his country" and ascribe him dual nationality // the Baad family was one of richest in all of Scandinavia

What makes him Swedish? He was born in Denmark and belonged to a family originating in Denmark. What's the policy? He last wife had no ties to Sweden before the marriage.

→Changing names: The name change was only part of the edit, so you could have simply edited that part rather than reverting - and you haven't addressed the matter of bringing up the above mentioned irrelevant arguments about moving the article and the use of eponyms

→September 2019: I am not "edit warring" and it's not your place to issue warnings. I am merely reverting an edit that simply wasn't up to standard. You should have found a source in English that actually covered House of Estridsen and the Estrith Dynasty

→Changing names: I can see you have reinserted the Danish eponyms, but it would have been better just editing the article rather than reverting my edit and bringing up irrelevant arguments in support of it on my talk page

House of Estridsen
Undid revision 916432706 by SergeWoodzing (talk)a Swedish encyclopaedia referring to the concept of ätt is not enough, ätt means family/kin group with a common ancestor, but doesn't necessarily imply matrilineal descent. Besides the source should cover the terms House of Estridsen and Estrith Dynasty, and we need a text in English for thatTag: Undo

→Changing names: Why would I request a move just to add the native name (in this case a supplementary native name)? That doesn't make any sense. Regarding exonyms I did use an exonym (Sophie for Sofie) for the pre-marriage part and did (of course) not change the name for the post-marriage part where she was queen of Sweden (which is the bulk of the article)

→Danish Name: inserting my revision - I don't have time to go looking for sources on this right now, but since its a topic often discussed at Danish wiki (where we find the "house" system weird) it should be noted here - hopefully someone has the time to source it at some point

Talk:House of Estridsen
it needs to be sourced that the term "House of Estridsen" is indeed widely used, and since it's a Danish royal family it also needs to be noted that it's not a term used in Danish historiography and that it's a modern term unrelated to historical practices. That's not POV but relevant background info

List of current monarchies
→Lines of succession: putting them in alphabetical order, the list wasn't in order of antiquity and there are too many uncertainties and debatable points about the precise age of these lineages anyway, so alphabetical order is preferable as its neutral

→Danish Name: Using the "House" concept about the pre-Oldenburg monarchs is anachronistic. It was a concept that was introduced from Germany. Scandinavian royal families in the Viking era and early/mid Middle Ages thought of lineages not Houses defined solely by agnatic descent

→Greenland and the Faroe Islands: not really true they are "effectively self-governing", esp. on Greenland the Danish government is still involved in a range of things. Not all areas that they can take over has been taken over, so the Self-Government Laws don't reflect the de facto situation, this is especially true for GL

the Greenlandic church is a diocese under the Danish church, unlike the Faroe Islands where a separate Church of the Faroe Islands was established in 2007.
