Safashahr (Persian: صفاشهر), also Romanized as Şafāshahr; formerly, Dehbid (دهبید),[3] is a city in the Central District of Khorrambid County, Fars province, Iran, serving as both capital of the district and of the county.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 22,254 in 5,556 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 26,091 people in 7,045 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 26,933 people in 8,036 households.[2]
