Darjeeling is in India, not in Nepal. Having it here is a clear case of POV-pushing. It is going to be very controversial if someone from India notices it. It should be removed immediately. This portal is clearly defined as portal of country Nepal, not of Nepali language or of stuff related to people of Nepali descent. I need "help" with it because I don't know what the protocols are when it comes to Portal pages, and how it got here or how it can be cleanly removed (I fear categories may be involved). And I wish the editor/s who did this could be warned. The severity of this kind of thing can not be overstated, as it can have real world political consequences, even though it has gone unnoticed till now. Thanks!
I agree that Darjeeling and Shiva are ambiguous relative to the general topic of Nepal, so I went ahead and boldly removed them from Portal:Nepal/Recognized content (diff, diff). The recognized content page is updated by User:JL-Bot, which is rather accurate, but sometimes there will be ambiguous or unrelated results generated. As such, the listings may appear again in the future when an update occurs, so feel free to keep an eye on the page. North America1000 13:37, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
Hello! Has there ever been a discussion somewhere about standardising the demonym for Nepal over Wikipedia? I feel like both Nepali and Nepalese are being used randomly/interchangeably/based on personal preference. I think Nepali should be made the standard and used everywhere that it's possible to use. Nepalese could be required in some cases where, for example Nepali can be confused for Nepali language and there is no good way to disambiguate with reasonable rephrasing; but it's just a hunch. Of course, I could be completely mistaken about what's proper for what usage (afterall Nepalese was entirely invented by foreigners to use in their own language SFAIK). That's why I was wondering if there have been discussions on the topic over here. Usedtobecool ✉️ ✨ 08:09, 13 July 2019 (UTC)

I found this map of Nepal (1959) on Internet and I uploaded it on commons. I don't know about license and legality/illegality or copyright. Can you help me to give it a legal copyright?
