Jafarabad (Persian: جعفر آباد, also Romanized as Ja‘farābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Siyah Mansur Rural District of the Central District of Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Kurds with an Azerbaijani minority.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 698 in 165 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 694 people in 168 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 558 people in 193 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
