Gorgin (Persian: گرگين)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Gorgin Rural District of Korani District, Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Azerbaijanis.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 272 in 72 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 247 people in 74 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 231 people in 81 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
