The default sort key of a page for categories can be changed using the new ((DEFAULTSORT)) magic word. For instance, on George Washington, ((DEFAULTSORT:Washington, George)) would cause a subsequent [[Category:United States presidents]] to be equivalent to [[Category:United States presidents|Washington, George]], not [[Category:United States presidents|George Washington]]. This is especially useful when the article belongs in many categories.(Rob Church, bug 5908, r18629)

A bug that caused incorrect display of autosummaries containing line breaks for IRC recent-changes bots was fixed. (Simetrical, bug 8304, r18500)

A bug that could cause incorrect display of the logo on right-to-left wikis that had customized the sidebar was fixed. (Brion Vibber, bug 8427, r18646)

The table-sorting script was upgraded to an improved version and adjusted somewhat. In particular, this eliminates two bugs: if a cell in the first row of the table contains whitespace, that does not force the rest of the column to sort alphabetically; and percentages now sort numerically. (Joost de Valk and Simetrical, bugs 8154 and 8155, r18775)

A few interface changes were made:

Minor edits can now be hidden from the watchlist via a checkbox. (Rob Church, bug 8018, r18640)
When bureaucrats rename users, they can now check a box to automatically move all of the user's pages and subpages to the new name. (Simetrical, bug 3519, r18649; interface and code improvements by Rob Church, r18649–53)
When editing a page, the list of templates at the bottom now indicates whether the template is protected or not. (Mark Haidar/Fyren, bug 8392, r18682)
When moving a page, an option to watch the target and redirect is now available. (Rob Church, bug 8461, r18773)

Dear sir,

First of all, thank you for all the work that you do for the community.

I am not sure if I am posting this question on the right place, but since you are the creator of this extraeditbuttons.js and I am unable to find the answer to my question elsewhere, please accept my appology for intruding into your page.

I would love to have these extra buttons on my MediaWiki edit box, but I am such a novice that I don't know how to.: I pasted the "simple code" on Special:Mypage/mystyle.js but nothing favorable happened.; Then after a while of searching, I finally ended up on the actual code that starts with <pre> and ends with </pre>, which was provided by you.; I assume I need to copy the large code into a file named extraeditbuttons.js and place it somewhere, then enter the "simple code" into Special:Mypage/mystyle.js.; Am I totally off?
Would you please be so kind to tell me: if I can actually use this code within my MediaWiki; and if so, where should I place the file?; Your kind help will be received with much appreciation.; Sincerely,
