Dear friends, I am looking for these two articles. Can anyone help me get them as they are for my research project. My library doesn't have the right subscription package and the corresponding authors mail doesn't work (I even found 3 different e-mail accounts but to no avail). Thank you!

I'm looking for page 615 of "The Tragedy of Russia's Reforms" By Peter Reddaway, Dmitri Glinski (ISBN-13: 978-1929223060). Can anyone help? Offliner (talk) 19:03, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm looking for two aritcles I can't find web versions for:
Amino acid conjugation: contribution to the metabolism and toxicity of xenobiotic carboxylic acids Kathleen M Knights, Matthew J Sykes, John O Miners Expert Opinion on Drug Metabolism & Toxicology, April 2007, Vol. 3, No. 2, Pages 159-168 (doi: 10.1517/17425255.3.2.159)

"The Earliest Horse Harnessing and Milking" Science 6 March 2009: 1332-1335
DOI: 10.1126/science.1168594
Dang library card only gets me Science before 2004, what's up with that? A copy would be appreciated and can be sent to franamax at gmail dot com. Thanks! Franamax (talk) 21:21, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you do, I'd like to know if it provides a classification of asteroid 243 Ida, when the spectroscopic measurements were taken, and what pages of the article the information appears on. Thank you. Wronkiew (talk) 00:07, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, that has all the information I needed. It was indeed classified as an S-type asteroid in the article (p. 404, 410). The observations were made on 16 September 1980 (p. 373). Wronkiew (talk) 16:05, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Acute systemic vanadate poisoning presenting as cerebrovascular ischemia...
I'd be very happy to read this article, too: Obituary. JAMA 92, 332 (1929) I'm aware that this issue of JAMA isn't available via publisher's site in digitalised form and thus my request may be problematic. As far as I know, it should be an obituary for Bronislaw Onuf-Onufrowicz done.
I think my library sub is regressing quickly. :( Anyway, could I get the fulltext of doi:10.1126/science.1136776, Science Vol315,No5818,pp1529-1532 16Mar07, "Recent Sea-Level Contributions of the Antarctic and Greenland Ice Sheets", Shepherd & Wingham? Thanks for the help! Franamax (talk) 00:12, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I am looking for three articles from Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology:

There are a couple of journal articles I don't have access to that would greatly assist in a Wikipedia article I'm writing on Martina Bergman-Österberg, a crucial figure in the early history of netball:
Bloomfield, Anne (September 2005). "Martina Bergman-Osterberg (1849-1915): Creating a Professional Role for Women in Physical Training". History of Education. 34 (5): 517–34. doi:10.1080/00467600500220762. ISSN0046-760X.

You can email me for Oxazolidinone structure-activity relationships leading to linezolid (I'll send you back a PDF). I don't get the other one, apparently. Although PMID also brings up a host of other reviews with almost the exact same title, and I'm sure I can get you some of those. Someguy1221 (talk) 02:18, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can you get this for me, needed for an article I'm writing on filters.
Darlington, S, "A history of network synthesis and filter theory for circuits composed of resistors, inductors, and capacitors", IEEE Trans. Circuits and Systems, vol 31, pp3-13, 1984.

Does anyone have access to this book? It would be extremely useful to me when editing articles of Russia's regions. Even if you have access to only some of the chapters, please leave me a note. Offliner (talk) 03:12, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose the 2003 edition is organized in the same way as the 2008 one: one chapter covers one region? My plan is to expand the economy sections in all articles of the Russian regions, so all chapters would be useful to me. But right now the most interesting ones would be Murmansk, Tuymen, Karelia and Arkhangelsk. Offliner (talk) 20:29, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the article for Arkhangelsk. Is this sufficient? If so then I'll get to work on the rest of the regions. Let me know when you've successfully downloaded the file.--droptone (talk) 15:13, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about forgetting to answer. I've downloaded the files, thank you very much! I will drop you a message when I'm done with using this info and if I need more. Offliner (talk) 14:57, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, you can email me and I'll send you the pdf. Unfortunately, the article is entirely in Polish. Attention is devoted to the technical aspects of wikipedia. Filip em (talk) 10:38, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place, I'll give it a try: I'm looking for an image that might be in the National Archives or in the Jimmy Carter library. It was a state visit in 1979, June 6th, of German Chancelor Helmut Schmidt at the White House. There is a series of that day in the archives (ARC Identifier 185273), but no digital resources to find out more. Especially, I'm looking for a image of this lady who was with Schmidt at the visit (Marion Dönhoff). Has anybody experience if it there is a chance writing to the archive or having someone visit the library to receive a copy? Just to get an idea if it could be realistic... Thank for some hints. --elya (talk)
is there any database that covers this first nationwide (now out of print) magazine on bisexuality? -- 172.183.24.4 14:26, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm looking for this piece; New York Times 1932 2nd April. "Dr. Evan Kane dies of pneumonia at 71". Alternatively, any other obituary/bio for this person would help. Thanks. SpinningSpark11:56, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I would still like to see it. I suspect, but cannot be sure till I have seen it, that it will contain additional information that is not already in the article. At minimum it will serve as an additional reference for the article. If you are willing to retrieve it on this speculative basis I will be grateful but will also fully understand if you choose to decline. SpinningSpark02:02, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm looking for an article about a extinct emu. "Parker, Shane A. (1984): The extinct Kangaroo Island emu, a hitherto unrecognised species. Bull. Brit. Ornithol. Club 104: 19-22." Thanks for help. Burmeister (talk) 18:58, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The paper should be available online for a number of colleges and universities. Can someone with access send me a copy please? TIA --h-stt!?17:10, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to expand the article about Ira Van Gieson and I'm looking for this paper:
White WA. "Dr. Van Gieson, An Obituary" American Journal of Insanity 69, pp. 801-803 (January, 1913)
Unfortunately, American Journal of Insanity/American Journal of Psychiatry archive issues are incomplete. Maybe someone has access to the printed ones.
– Russavia was able to track down the stories I needed for me.
Hello, I am looking for someone with subscription level access to AllAfrica.com. I would like copies of about approximate 5 articles hosted there. Thanks, ThaddeusB (talk) 04:28, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can anyone with access to the LA Times archives take a look here and tell me if there's anything usable for sourcing Job's Daughters International? The only thing showing up in the abstract is the Biblical quotation that inspired its name, and I don't want to pay for access if it doesn't actually say anything useful.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:47, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I hope I'm not asking too much.. I need two more papers from American Journal of Insanity which requires a subscription to American Journal of Psychiatry Online. I'm going to expand articles about pl:Edward Charles Spitzka and pl:John Cargyll Shaw in Polish wikipedia and write the articles about them for en wikipedia too. I'd like to ask for:
I can provide the article, drop me an email and I'll send it to you. Though from a quick look it appears the only reference to Spencer is in the title of a book—Ellis, G., Time and Tide: Ramblings, Recollections and Reminiscences of the Spencer Family (Invercargill: Georgina Ellis, 2000). There are several good articles in this journal, that could be used as sources in 2008 South Ossetia war. Does anyone have access to this journal? Especially useful would be:
The roots of Russian conduct
America and the Russo-Georgian War
The fatal flaw: the media and the Russian invasion of Georgia
My library has access to this (only the 2009 issues). Drop me an email and I can provide you with the pdfs if you still need them. Dr pda (talk) 21:33, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

title= Falun Gong Adds Media Weapons In Struggle With China's Rulers
work=Wall Street Journal (Eastern edition)
date=April 14, 2004
page=B.2I
So far I looked at google for the content and for the title
I emailed wsj.com and got the following response: "Wall Street Journal Online subscribers can access WSJ.com articles that have appeared within the past 2 years. Through the advanced search feature, WSJ.com subscribers can browse past print and online editions via Factiva; there is no charge to view headlines, and a charge of $2.95 to view articles. WSJ print articles going back to 1979 and WSJ.com articles to November 8, 2006, are available. Please visit wsj.com. Current print subscribers receive a discounted Wall Street Journal Online rate of $49.00 for the first year. Should you have any questions, please contact The Wall Street Journal Online at onlinejournal@wsj.com or by phone at 1-800-JOURNAL (568-7625). Factiva provides access to The Wall Street Journal print edition database via a Factiva subscription. Visit Factiva at http://www.factiva.com for subscription details or call 1-800-369-0166."
And now I'm a bit lost, because all the searches show that this article does not exist, yet, it is repeatedly inserted again: this source, reinserted here and here, after notifying the author.
I'm not really sure about that version. For the usual version there is a search bar, so to bring up the article i put in the full title "Falun Gong Adds Media Weapons In Struggle With China's Rulers" and it popped up as the only entry. The search works on exact phrases so to combine phrases I use "AND". For example "Falun Gong AND media" is a search that will probably bring up relevant articles. I don't use the inverted commas in any of the searches.--Commander Keane (talk) 07:09, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have the Pharm. Rev. review. If you send me an email, I'll return you the PDF. But my library's subscription to the Journal of Clinical Oncology doesn't go back as far as 1993, apparently. Someguy1221 (talk) 01:35, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here and here are copies of the letters. It doesn't look like much though, was there more that you wanted? In any case, let me know when you've downloaded the files.--droptone (talk) 14:08, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! If it wouldn't be too much of an imposition, and since you ask :) I would be very interested in reading the review by Humphries et al (2008) as well as any other letters that may have been published regarding it, I note that the letter by JD Fernstrom is not among the pdfs you so graciously made available. Sorry for fawning :) It has been incredibly frustrating to be met with barriers to information access. Thanks Again! Unomi (talk) 14:32, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Could someone please check the online Oxford English Dictionary for the definition cited in the lead sentence of Neuro-linguistic programming? This is currently under discussion on the Talk page, but I don't have access to the online edition. Thanks. Keahapana (talk) 23:16, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your quick and helpful reply. I only recently learned about WRE and appreciate your assistance on this article. Living on an island, I'm sometimes unable to obtain materials for Wikipedia. Thanks again. Keahapana (talk) 20:24, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
