@Bbb23: Apologies diff 1 is the only link we have to the sockmaster its tenuous hence the request for CU to see if the poster who made the comment is indeed who they claim to be, it looks like the sig was manually entered rather than being ~~~~'d as the comment was made by one of the Ip's. Would it be possible to amend the request to purely the other accounts to see if they are linked in that case as the evidence looks stronger between those and I'll admit the first account looks tenuous at best but was named as oldest account I could tell out of the lot of them hence the name provided. If that's possible yes, the reason I chose Baseballfan was as that was the oldest account I had suspicions about (not necessarily the strongest ones though)it seemed likely if they were related that would be considered the sockmaster. The evidence for the remaining account and IP's I feel is much stronger so its quite possible that Baseballfan was just used by one of the IP's as either a distraction or to point the blame somewhere else. I don't see the involvement of Barbequeue here at all, and neither would I call it a throwaway account; has been active for > eight weeks now on many articles. Brianhe (talk) 03:41, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'll wait a bit for a clerk to look at this, but I'd recommend a decline based on effectively no evidence against the alleged master. If this sitts too long without clerk action, I'll probably decline it myself.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:21, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Account Barbequeue was created ~12 hours after Blueberry Hill (formerly named 3Q Digital Harte Hanks) was blocked [19]. In fact the sock account creation was just a few minutes after [20] this response indicating that Blueberry Hill became aware of the block. Both have declared paid editor status for same SEO/SEM firm [21][22]. Both frequently contribute to same articles, both the obvious and declared paid editing such as Paul Greenberg (executive) but also obscure personal-interest stuff like the etymology section of Winooski, Vermont [23][24] leaving no doubt that they are the same individual. Request identification of sockfarm per WP:DUCK and probably Blueberry Hill/3Q Digital Harte Hanks will be the new master. ☆ Bri (talk) 14:59, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Although there are no article overlaps between Blueberry Hill and Qwacker, they both edit articles on hotels, hotel chains, and other travel industry-related topics.
  • Blueberry Hill stopped editing in January 2016 [26], and -- although Qwacker had 17 edits before January 2016 -- they didn't start editing for real until then [27]
  • The obvious fact that the user name, "Qwacker"="duck", which is either a coincidence or deliberate trolling.

The blocked socks was a person or people from the digital marketing firm 3QDigital, per this diff. Psychomaple is from the same firm per this diff. You can see the person/people from the company continually working at Talk:Zendesk.

This is block-evading sock or meat, very very clearly. In my view, the master account needs to appeal its block and get unblocked for company reps to continue to be present in WP. Instead they just created new accounts and went right back at it. Jytdog (talk) 20:51, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
