Whether or not you consider it a "great picture" or believe that the fact there there are only 2 pictures of her on her page is insufficient has no bearing here. If there were more freely licensed pictures of her in existence, her page could be filled with them. The fact that there are not, and that a fair use argument has to be made for even one image of her here, means that the box is full, as it were. This image will be deleted under a fair use argument because we already have one picture of her under such an argument. That this image is good is irrelevant. I am sorry. There are other articles of notable people that have more than 2 pictures on their page. I just don't see it as issue with her article having 2 pictures. With more than two fair use pictures? I don't think you are understanding the point of the fair use argument or what it means to be a photographer and have your copyrighted work used without your permission (which is, essentially, what fair use allows). We only allow the absolute minimum amount of such "infringement" on the rights of these professional photographers, and only with lots of justification for doing so. Here, there is no justification. • Keep as deletion nom is more than likely a form of WP:REVENGE for this: list of photos MaranoFan uploaded and are being nom'd for deletion by Chasewc91, the editor who uploaded the photo in question here. Further, the del nominator for this file was recently released from a month-long block due to repeated uploads of images in violation of the Wikipedia:Non-free content policy. • Hold on Last time I checked, the "notability" (?) of an image was not a qualifying condition for its use under a fair use argument, and what, MaRAno ^FAN, is meant by "any critical response"? Response to what? If you want to nominate a file for deletion, you need to do a more thorough job of explaining why. The only questions before us are Is this image likely protected by copyright?   • He didn't use the right words, but it's obvious what he meant. Please see WP:NFCC#8. The fair use image must be key to the user's understanding of the topic. This group and their music is very connected to the culture of the South (USA) and southern Louisiana. I make this case in the Potliquor article, and the cover art of this album strengthens that point. I believe that the usage of this image meets the requirements of WP:NFCC#9 (Restrictions on location) in that it appears in an article in which it is discussed and also meets the requirements of WP:NFCC#8 (Contextual significance) and WP:NFC#UUI §2 in that the critical commentary in the article concerning the imagery of the cover art connecting the band to their cultural context is strengthened by adding the actual image to the article.
