M-1 is part of a duo that has sold over 300,000 records and meets at least 8 of the 12 notability guidelines for musical groups (1,2,4,5,6,7,10,12). Individually, he has a number of documentary film and acting credits and has received coverage (as an individual as well as part of Dead Prez) for both his political activism and musical career.
