Is VAAM a scientific or marketing name? The inclusion of an athlete's feelings counts sounds like product endorsement, so I removed that. Widefox 16:48, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

I've given you the rollback bit per your request. Sorry it took a while to get to it, been off Wikipedia for the past week or so. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bryan Derksen (talk • contribs) 23:29, 11 Nov 2008
Hi,
I saw you changed the trim listed on that Geo Storm image I uploaded from GS to GSi. I based the original image description on the badge on the car, which is GS. What was your change based on? IFCAR (talk) 17:39, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:467191491 l.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. — ξxplicit 23:02, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia:Signatures#Images. You should not have an image in your signature. As an alternative, you could look for a unicode symbol to replace it. Sorry, Sven Manguard Wha? 18:39, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi VoxLuna. I adjusted your signature in the autoconfirmed status proposal as it was breaking the count, making it appear that the statement you supported had fewer supports than it actually did. It may be useful to go back through your edits to check on other instances where your signature may have caused problems. SilkTork *Tea time 09:00, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

I can find no evidence of a block affecting this account. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:59, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Daniel Case (talk) 15:02, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
Your version in the introduction section:
My suggested correction:
Are you ok with this?
Reasoning: I think you intended plain text. ASCII is just one particular implementation of plain text, the most popular and widely used one for sure, and therefore probably used almost like a synonym, but the encyclopedically correct approach would be using the general term. An example for the same misused terminology would be to falsely use Pampers as a general terms for diapers (particular brand name for general product class). The problem gets even more obvious, if you think about voice writers, who dictate languages which need Non-ASCII characters! — Preceding unsigned comment added by PutzfetzenORG (talk • contribs) 16:29, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Concerning the signature: I always used the toolbar signature icon, which inserts --~~~~.

You can use ((cquote)), but it is not supposed to be used in articles per WP:MOSQUOTE. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 23:35, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Catching up after Christmas activity - regarding the ability to localise dates/words, that is something technology should be able to do, and there was an automated date formatting that was used for some years. Unfortunately, it was decommissioned after a heavy debate (see MOS:UNLINKDATES). The only way to autoformat was to link the dates (e.g. 29 December 2012), thus displaying according to user's preferences. This would have been a good technological advance, but numerous editors felt otherwise. Another concern is that if bots were to attempt such formatting, these would cause problems when encountering verbatim items such as quotations and titles, and would not always be effective at dealing with the numerous syntax/spelling errors in articles. Hope this explanation helps. Dl2000 (talk) 14:55, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Bennett & Elliott states on page 305 of the 2003 (5th) edition that no narcotic effect has been observed in either helium or neon. I know that it remarks on page 304 that noble gases cause the same signs and symptoms as air, but vary in their potency, but Peter Bennett goes on to consider in detail helium, neon and hydrogen on the next page, where he makes clear that any narcotic potency for helium and neon is too small to have been observed, and in any case is swamped by the antagonism of the increased hydrostatic pressure (the "pressure reversal effect"). I've therefore restored the previous text. There was already a section on the talk page discussing the issue, but I've made a new section in case you want to discuss it further. Cheers --RexxS (talk) 15:18, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
Hello VoxLuna,
you tell us on your user-page that you have a PGP-key, but you don’t provide it. Could you please use a pgp-template with an ID-field (like Template:User PGP)? Also it would be great if you could send me your key-ID by wiki-mail or leave it on my talk-page. Thanks :-). --DaB. (talk) 14:15, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Copperhead (politics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liberty Head large cents. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
