Yes, you can delete comments once you've responded to them. In my experience, though, very few Wikipedians do so. Most just archive them to a subpage when the Talk page gets too long. It's up to you. I restored them for you the first time because I figured you might have removed them inadvertently. | Klaw ¡digame! 21:51, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments. If you haven't already, you should make sure to put your comments to me on the discussion page as well, as you make some good points. It doesn't change my mind, personally, but it might others, you never know. Good discussion, nonetheless. Cheers. 23skidoo 22:39, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi. I deleted the article Goui that you created. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not (#1.2 Wikipedia is not a dictionary) and Wiktionary. Otherwise, thank you for your contributions. // Pathoschild 03:50, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
If it refers to an actual geographical area -- unincorporated parts of Newcastle, Maine + unincorporated Damariscotta, Maine? -- then I'd agree it shouldn't be deleted. But I can find no evidence that it refers to anything real. E.g., on TopoZone, the towns of Damariscotta and Newcastle don't appear to have any pockets of unincorporated area in them (or near them). I'm suggesting that this alleged CDP is some kind of database error. ScottMainwaring 05:32, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
That's OK. It helps to step away for a bit. They're new. (You were new too, right?) We've provided them plenty of reading to get themselves acquainted. FWIW, I say all we need to do now is sit and wait. (That's my rationale by the way, for creating ((Notability))) -- Perfecto 03:37, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
What's your deal guy? You come off to me as being the hitler of wikipedia. Kenpo0110 01:57, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Wow, them's some pretty strong words -- I guess you really annoyed Kenpo, but thanks a lot for replacing my comments. I'll make sure they stay in. I appreciate your looking out for others like that! bikeable (talk) 04:09, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

I am not a template guru so if you have made templates before you will get it done quicker. What I have in mind (if others agree) is something similar in tone to ((welcome)) but with an additional para referencing WP:AUTO, WP:CORP and maybe WP:BAI, in a light but firm way. - Just zis Guy, you know? Though you are welcome to bring discussions at the Administrator's Noticeboard... I would suggest that the proper forum for block requests is Administrator's Intervention against Vandalism. If you list something there, usually it is jumped upon by the admins who watch that page. In the case of your most recent vandal, I looked and they haven't vandalized since their first post today / your warning so I am not inclined to block them at this time but will keep an eye on them. Thanks! --Syrthiss 21:35, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi Mike, I appreciate it was intended as a joke, but it is a joke at my expense, plus close to 200+ other users. Regards, Ben Aveling 01:54, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi Mike, At any other time the quote would have indeed have been harmless. But given when it was added, I took it as a not very subtle way of saying 'you didn't vote for me because you're all a clan of troglodytes'. There may be another explaination. I left a message for Kelly to let her know that I was offended, and give her a chance to respond. So far, she hasn't chosen to do so. A number of other people have, but they haven't persuaded me that the statement wasn't intended as a joke at the expense of some or all of the people who voted against her. Regards, Ben Aveling 05:35, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
I saw that too. After looking through the diff's in his edits and after seeing the warnings on his talk page I felt a block was appropriate. Hopefully this will not arise with this user anymore. Thanks for the message and happy editing. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 03:14, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
I refer to the above AfD discussion, where you voted Speedy Delete. However, "Not notable, per nom." is not currently a criterion for speedy deletion. Please clarify your vote to indicate which of these criteria you feel the page meets, or revise your vote. Stifle 00:41, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for removing the nonsense on my talk page (and I'll probably archive them for the sheer BJAODNness of the, uh, exchange). I speedied this guy's pages, in, like, early December, I think. So that's either dedication or really having no life. Thanks again. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 01:08, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Dude, thanks for the wonderful piece of art you left on my userpage. :-) I feel so humbled. I will keep and treasure it forever. In fact, look at what youyr edit has spawned: [1]. :-) Dmcdevit·t 04:41, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
You're, like, so evil! :D I never expected vandals to update the counter when vandalising my user page :D --Missmarple 15:43, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi Onthost, I appriciate your enthusiasm towards vandalizing. lol, sorry I thought I'd say that. If you wanted so bad to be listed at my vandals page, you got it! I even listed you 4 times on my vandalism page for every failed attempt for vandalizing. Can I ask you why you wanted to be listed? — Moe ε 01:15, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Mike - The AfD tag was posted on this article while I was still making it. I think you may have seen a very early edition. Please revisit the Pulp and Paper Merit Badge article and see if you might change your mind on your suggestion for deletion. The article is squarely focused on the nature of the merit badge, and no longer makes any claims to be a resource page. My eventual intent is to preserve the history of each merit badge, including current and previous images, history of requirements, how the requirements relate to culture, business, and society, etc. Thanks in advance. Hi I was wondering if you could give me a tad bit of advice regardng Kenpo/Regamine. I nominated his companies article on AFD and it was deleted (it was mostly an advertisement for some university project company). He has 3 accounts which he was blanking AFD pages with, adding his companies' link to the current Remagine article (an article about a band). I tagged him with sockpuppet tags, hes since removed them and put those "warnings" on them instead. I wrote him a little talk blurb, and the reply i got was mostly about how I am new and excited about wikipedia, and want to be an admin (honestly no offense, i dont ever want that job lol). Just wondering what I should do now? I asked for advice on the AN, but didn't get much of a serious response except from you. His main account is Kenpo (I think) and that is where the talk page conversation was. Mike (T C) 22:23, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Okay, here's the deal: I've talked to him by email, and had contact from another admin on the issue. I've unblocked User:Kempo, which is going to be his only account. The others will stay blocked (unless it causes autoblocks, then I'll unblock with the warning to him not to use them). The other admin is going to watch over him and help out where he can. My advice to him is to avoid having any contact with you, and I advise you to do the same. In the long run, it'll save you both a lot of stress, and if there is something going on that needs to be handled, one of the other 25,000 users will catch it. Best to just pretend he doesn't exist, and let him pretend you don't either. Essjay Talk • Contact 04:43, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
