I don't think so, but then I haven't looked at the other article. I think this could probably be expanded far enough that they could easily be two distinct articles, but myself probably wouldn't contribute very much in any short timeframe either. wbfergusTalk13:43, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Support - These are WP:DUP: The article on Sudan (region) is unsourced apart from its history section. In the unsourced part it claims that the Sudan region is nothing more than the western part of the Sahel region. The sources there as well as here however, state that the Sudan is the region between the semi-arid Sahel and the tropicalGuineo-Congolian region. To add to the confusion, the modern day country of Sudan lies mainly in the Sahel.--89.206.112.13 (talk) 14:19, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
