It seems that the information about Sharman either needs to be deleted or rephrased. Both Tereshkova and Savitskaya are Europeans. Sharman wasn't the first European woman in space at all. I'm not sure if Ride's presence is substantiated either. Is her nationality a reasonable base to include her here? Writing a paragraph about the first American woman in space requires writing about first women in space from every other nation since the US is not a country above others.
Now that I'm thinking about it, the paragraph about Glen should also be deleted since the title is First man in space. I can't see the point of writing about the second American in orbit here. Uostofchuodnego (talk) 21:28, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
